Emergency Outfitters, Inc. has been providing training and medical services since 1993.

We are an American Heart Association - Community Training Center.  All of our instructors work in the medical field and have real life experience performing emergency medicine.  We take pride in developing our classes to meet our client’s diverse needs. 

Our customers include electrical and gas utilities, fitness centers, dental and medical offices and school districts. Private classes for individuals entering the healthcare field or needing recertification are also available.

Tip of the Month
With the temps dropping, staying warm and safe is extremely important. Check that all smoke and CO detectors are in proper working condition. Keep your walkways clear of ice and snow to avoid falls. Keep a survival kit in your car in case you are stranded. Stay with your car if stranded and wait for help to find you. Cold weather means additional precautions for your pets. Wipe their paws when they come in.  They can ingest salt and chemicals while licking their paws. Make sure they have a warm place to sleep.

The American Heart Association has developed new guidelines for treatment of sudden cardiac arrest. These new guidelines for CPR are required to be implemented by March 1, 2011. Using interim training materials, we began training to the new standards November 15th. New materials will not be available until sometime in the first quarter of 2011.
